My Services
I'm a registered psychotherapist, holding PBANZ, MNZAP, ACC Sensitive Claims registration and a Master of Psychotherapy (1st Class Hons) (AUT).
I offer a range of therapy services, including working with anxiety, depression and trauma. I also offer supervision services for clinicians and workplace training services for workplaces seeking support and guidance on clinical and cultural needs.
He patai - Frequently asked questions
What happens in the first session?
In our first session, I'll work with you to create a supportive environment where you can share your concerns, challenges, and goals. I'll listen to your story, ask questions, and start to gain insight into your situation. We will then discuss where to from here, and what approaches might be best suitable for you.
How much does it cost?
The cost of working with me varies depending on the services you require. I am registered with ACC Sensitive Claims, the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) with Telus Health, and I can help you access WINZ funding if you qualify. You can contact me directly for more information around rates and to discuss further.
Do I join online or in person?
My preference is to work in person, however sometimes online sessions are an option. Online sessions are conducted via secure video conferencing software, whereas in-person sessions take place at my rooms at Awatea Therapy in Mauinaina/Panmure.
How does therapy make a difference?
Therapy allows you to discuss whatever challenges or difficulties you might be facing with someone outside of your traditional support circles. With my background in social work and my training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, I have a unique blend of expertise and understanding that allows me to help clients identify barriers to change.
